History

Windsor Castle January 2023

The children in Year 5 enjoyed a memorable trip to Windsor Castle. They were able to explore the castle grounds, learning about the history of the castle itself, and the buildings around it. The children had the opportunity to walk through St George's Chapel, seeing real examples of history. Walking through the castle itself was greatly enjoyed as the children could see where monarchs have lived over hundreds of years. They also enjoyed an educational workshop which linked to our history project about the changing role of the monarchy.
