Year 6 Mixed Basketball

| The newly formed Basketball team really ‘slammed dunked’ it at a New Forest Schools 3 V 3 competition winning all of their matches in the first round to secure a solid position within the Premier Division. Although some of the team often play basketball at lunchtimes, we had to quickly adapt our play to the new rules of 3v3 match play. We were a little apprehensive of our ability upon meeting other schools, however I was so proud of their performance as they really stepped up and played some exciting, well-polished team play and many baskets were won. We were anxious that the next matches within the Premier Division could secure a medal. Sadly no medals this time but an incredible 4th place overall out of 16 teams and we enjoyed our well deserved round of applause from all the other teams. We all had a super experience and had fun at the same time. Year 4 and 5 it’s over to you now to get practising ready for next Year! |  |
