Sport Relief Challenge

18TH MARCH 2016

Generous pupils at Ringwood Junior School all rose to the challenge today by taking part in a wide variety of sporting activities. Every single child wore sports kit to school in return for a donation for Sport Relief.

Sam, Charlie and Finn, all pupils in Year 5, organised a fun football tournament that took place during their Golden Time, leading up to Sport Relief day. Children donated money to take part and £22.60 was raised which was added to the schools grand total.

“Try 3 in 30” was the theme this year. Every pupil had the challenge to take part in at least 3 different sports in 30 minutes. Activities ranged from dance, netball, football, hockey, basketball, relays and even hula hooping!

A great big thank you to every pupil for their enthusiasm and generosity.
