The children in Year 3 have been working on their word meaning and grammar skills using the book Stone Girl Bone Girl by Larence Anholt as their inspiration.  We explored the book and discussed the meaning of new and unfamiliar vocabulary.  We then went on a vocabulary scavenger hunt and sorted them into word classes.
