Open Morning Spring Term

Year 4 visitor

Year 4 had a lady come into our school to teach us about the Passover meal and why is it still remembered by Jews today. We learnt all about their escape from Egypt, over 3000 years ago, and what each of the foods represents as part of that story.

Mosaic Artwork

Year 4 have been studying mosaic artwork, focussing on Gaudi's lizard design. We sculpted our own lizards out of clay and then used paint to create a mosaic pattern. 

Year 4 visited Blashford lakes

In September, the children in year 4 visited Blashford lakes as part of our Geography study on 'Rivers'. Children investigated river Geography, undertook fieldwork activities and identified creatures that live in rivers and ponds.
